Coronavirus Relief Fund
Information Regarding Coronavirus Relief Funding Available for Community Providers for COVID-Eligible Expenses
The Department of Human Services will use federal Coronavirus Relief Fund resources to help providers of home health, developmental disability and homeless services to remain open and accessible during the pandemic by reimbursing for the added costs they are incurring due to COVID-19 for essentials such as PPE and enhanced cleaning.
Eligible entities include:
- Licensed developmental disability and traumatic brain injury group homes;
- Developmental disability facility-based day programs;
- Homeless shelters that accept reimbursement from Human Services’ Division of Family Development; and
- Personal care assistance agencies that participate in New Jersey’s Medicaid program and provided Medicaid services during calendar year 2020.<

Please note:
- Reimbursement requests must be submitted to mahs.provider-inquiries@dhs.state.nj.us no later than November 13, 2020.
- A provider should submit only one email, containing (2) two attachments:
- (1) A single PDF file including the:
- (a) Signed State of New Jersey Payment Voucher,
- (b) Documentation of Purchases, and
- (c) Signed Attestation.
- (2) The completed Excel CRF Voucher Worksheet detailing expenditures. The totals in this Worksheet must tie to the Payment Voucher totals and the Documentation of Purchases.
